Pre-K Soccer

HARTWELL'S Pre-K SOCCER PROGRAM
FALL 2024
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
If the session you want is sold out, you may want to sign up for the waitlist and simultaneously register in an alternate session.  Early morning Saturday Pre-K sessions are very popular. A slot may not become available. If you're waiting for an early morning slot, it's best to register and pay for an available slot at a later time in addition to adding your child to the waitlist for the earlier slot.

Our Pre K soccer program is an introduction to soccer for 4-5 year olds. Pre-K seasons run both in the Spring and Fall. To enroll, a child must not yet be in kindergarten and must be at least 3 years and 9 months old at the beginning of a season. For the FALL 2024 season the child must be born on or before December 01, 2020, and not yet in Kindergarten.

This co-ed program provides your child with one session per week, but we offer multiple day/time options throughout the week for your convenience. You may choose one of the Saturday morning sessions (9AM, 10AM, or 11AM) or one of the midweek sessions at 9 AM or 2 PM.

The $100 registration fee includes a full season of weekly soccer sessions, and a team shirt. The sessions are led by our professional club trainers with an opportunity for parent volunteers to assist.

Pre K soccer is one of the most exciting ways for a child to experience soccer for the first time. The instruction includes movement and coordination skills with and without the soccer ball, with an emphasis on having fun. The sessions are made up of fun games to introduce a soccer ball, dribbling and kicking. Children will interact with each other and also have an opportunity to meet new friends and develop social skills during the season.

To sign up visit the Registration Tab or click the registration button below (if still open). If you would like to volunteer to help please contact the Club's Program Director, Matt Pecheone (programdir@glastonburysoccer.org)

If you would like to learn more about the Pre-K program, please review the Pre K Information document. This has been designed to help the parent and volunteer coach gain a deeper understanding of the Pre K program. Check out some of the Sample Session Drills for an example of the type of games/drills we will be playing.
