2024 Trees of Giving

REMINDER: DEADLINE TO DONATE is DECEMBER 5, 2024
Experience the magic of the holiday season with trees decorated and bustling with gifts and surprises for everyone. 
  • All Gift Trees are donated and sponsored by business, organizations, and groups like HARTWELL. 
  • Businesses/organizations decorate the Gift Trees with a theme, like SOCCER,  and load them up with prizes, like gift cards, SWAG, and gear. 
  • The Gift Trees are then raffled out to lucky winners for them to take home .... with all the decorations, including the prizes and giveaways. 
  • The raffle proceeds are donated to GLASTONBURY GIVES (more info on Glastonbury Gives here).
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We need SOCCER-themed decorations for the tree, and also prizes to hang on the tree.  Prizes can be gift cards to local businesses/restaurants, gift coupons for Hartwell soccer camps, and Hartwell soccer gear.
If you have:
  • items you would like to donate,
  • gift cards to donate, or
  • if you can donate money to help us purchase the tree, decorations, and prizes,...

... we can put all that to good use for this project.

2024 Race to Fill the Pantry
November 17, 2024

THANK YOU to all of the Hartwell families that participated in the Race to Fill the Pantry, whether it was running in the race, cheering, and/or donating to the local food pantry. The Glastonbury River Runners were thrilled with the participation and most of all, by the donations to the pantry--The race-day donations totaled a record-breaking number of over 2,500 items!

DRUM ROLL... the winner of our club-contest for most items donated was the BU11 Blue Tsunamis, who donated over 300 items!!! They will celebrate their success at Dave & Busters--congratulations! Other teams that went above & beyond were:

BU10 Blue: Over 200 items

BU10 White: 100 Items

GU12 White: 100 Items

GU10 Blue: 55 items

And SOOO many more donations from other Hartwell families!
